KLEINERT’S®, Michael I. Brier Chief Executive Officer, Kleinert’s® Hygienics Industries, Inc.

Michael Brier has more than 25 years of experience in the hygiene industry, learning from the ground up in Kleinert’s® National Branded Sales Division, beginning in 1978.  Having a keen business sense of the product line, Brier soon became Product Manager, designing, improving and growing Kleinert’s line of products in the dress and garment shield category and increasing sales to more than $2 million within the first year. 

With a firm grasp of its international possibilities, Brier served a dual role as Kleinert’s International Sales Agent, giving the brand a global perspective and establishing a client base that is worldwide. His tenacity did not go unnoticed as he was honored by the state of Pennsylvania with a grant for Outstanding Entrepreneurship in 1984.

Brier continued to evolve the brand to fit the lifestyles and needs of a changing consumer base in the new millennium and opened an Alabama factory to handle the influx of business. In 2006, Brier acquired ownership of the “Kleinert’s® Brand Since 1869” brand name and re-introduced Kleinert’s core product line to the trade, thereby re-establishing it as a powerhouse standard and continued innovator in the industry.

Under Brier’s direction, Kleinert’s continues to forge ahead with products that benefit a variety of industries including healthcare. Brier’s products infused with innovations such as Safe and Dry® and Fabrapel® --paired with Kleinert’s improved Dry Shield® brand-- have continued to thrive in chain stores, mail orders and pharmacies nationwide. Internationally, Kleinert’s customer base is growing and manufacturing operations have been established under Brier’s supervision.

While working under the Kleinert’s brand, Brier was granted two mechanical patents with one pending. Brier received his B.A. from Washington University and his M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and currently resides with his wife in Golden Beach Florida.
