A regular sized dress shield is approximately 5 ½ inches by 5 ½ inches and it is intended for regular sleeve lengths. A short sleeve dress shield is approximately 5 ½ inches by 3 1/2 inches so that the shorter side comes down the arm to a lesser extent to conform to short sleeve blouses and shirts. Additionally, enlarged dress shields are also available which provide more coverage these measure between 6 inches x 7 1/2 inches to 6 x 9 inches.
All the above reusable dress shields can be hand or machine washed. We recommend a non-detergent soap or Woolite® be used. This will ensure a long life for the shields. These are constructed with a non woven absorbent top layer made out of cellulose wood pulp fibers attached to a waterproof back layer. These products have adhesive tapes covering this waterproof back layer which when the release paper is removed will attach temporarily to the wearers clothing.
